Lila received her doctorate from the College of William and Mary, in Williamsburg, Virginia. Dr. Annaloro has been in private practice for over 25 years. Her clinical specialty has been in treatment of adults and adolescents with eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, binge-eating and obesity. She was on the staff at the Eating Disorders Unit of the Deaconess-Waltham Hospital. Dr. Annaloro has also worked in community mental health and university counseling. More recently, she has expanded her practice to treating individuals with substance abuse. Dr. Annaloro is certified by the American Psychological Association in the treatment of Alcohol and other Psychoactive Substance Use Disorders. Dr. Annaloro also has many years’ experience treating individuals with mood disorders (depression and bi-polar), anxiety, trauma associated with sexual abuse, personality disorders, women’s issues, young adult and adolescent adjustment concerns, healthy relationship development and aging wellness. Dr. Annaloro’s clinical perspective is combination of psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapy. She incorporates mindfulness mediation and interpersonal effectiveness training in her approach to treatment.
